Join the Santa Maria Police Council Santa Maria Police Council, Inc., is a newly formed 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The council serves to support the Santa Maria Police Department to enable purchases of safety materials and equipment for the men and women of the department over and above what the operating budget allows. The SMPC annual membership contribution is $200 for an individual or $250 for a family of (2) or business. Lifetime membership contributions are $2,000 for an individual or $2,500 for a family of (2) or business. As a member, your name or company name—if you so choose— will appear on correspondence and/or programs for special events. In addition, you will receive a Santa Maria Police Council membership sticker, certificate and lapel pin. Lifetime members will also receive a plaque. To join the Santa Maria Police Council, please print out and complete our membership application.
